The Chestnut Springs Dolphins is a community based summer swim team. The team includes boys and girls ranging in age from 5 to 18 years of age. Our focus and commitment is to develop good team skills and expose our children to a supportive team based environment. The goal is to introduce our young swimmers to a lifelong sport, as well as improve their skills through coaching and practice. The team environment allows younger swimmers to interact and look up to older swimmers.
Winning is great, but it is not the main focus of our team. The summer swim team brings together our children and families from inside and outside our neighborhood, which is the true benefit of the team! This activity is the only community based activity that brings all of our children together in one single team. Let's make sure we help to foster this community based activity and provide all of our children with safe, easily accessible, team based sport!!
The newest program started in 2017 is our Dolphin PUPS program for 4 year old swimmers. This program is intended to offer our future Dolphins a chance for some pool time and coaching three times a week. Our Pups are too young to swim in the CSSL meets, but they can practice and be part of the summer swim experience.
