It’s been a crazy and rainy week so thank you all for adapting to our changing schedules so readily! We had our first meet Tuesday and had some amazing new times put up by our swimmers! Wednesday we took our team pictures and had our first fun swim (with some unfortunate weather) and Thursday our 7-10 age group got lots of new instruction from Coach Tyler of Swim Atlanta! 

Since we had our first meet this week, we have both a Swimmer of the Week for Practice and for the Meet to share with you. Our Swimmer of the Meet this week is Drew Borkat, who did an amazing job of looking after his buddy and helping our younger swimmers all meet long! He was constantly behind the blocks reassuring them and making sure they knew where to go which made our job as coaches much easier! Our Swimmer of Practice this week is Presley Nolan who did an exceptional job of leading by example this week by leading stretches and having a continuous positive attitude. Both of these wonderful swimmers can pick up their prizes from the coaches on Monday! 

Our next meet is this coming Monday (6/2) @ home! Please declare your swimmer if you have not already done so. If your child did not get their ribbons from the previous meet today, they will have another chance to grab them Monday after practice or any following Friday.
