Now that school is back in session, we can officially close the 2019 Chestnut Springs Dolphins summer swim season. There are a few details we are finishing up so that the team is ready for 2020. We are getting some quotes on replacing our well used starting blocks. If anyone in the neighborhood can do metal work and welding, please let us know. We would like to keep the same design with a few minor modifications.

As we have mentioned throughout the summer and at the banquet, we will be stepping down as coordinators for the Chestnut Springs Dolphins.  The main to do this winter is to find the new swim team coordinators for 2020. We have checked our email daily for resumes and recommendation…The good news is that neither are required, just your willingness to get involved. As we have clearly shown, knowing how to swim is not required. We have plenty of folks in the neighborhood that know about the swimming aspect…

There is not much activity over the winter, so not a huge time commitment. We will need to switch over some banking and computer related tasks. This is something we can do over the winter without feeling rushed. We have run the team for the past 4 years and will be available to help and support the new coordinator(s) next year.
