Each year, Cobb County runs a county wide qualifying meet at the Mt View Aquatic Center. The Patti Wilder meet is open to all Cobb Summer Swim League (CSSL) teams.  The 2019 qualifying meet will be held on Saturday and Sunday June 29 and 30. Our Chestnut Springs Dolphins are part of the CSSL so our swimmers are eligible to enter. This is a fairly competitive meet, but all swimmers and levels are welcome. It is slightly different from the neighborhood meets.  It is indoor, more teams, has electronic timing and has been a great experience for our swimmers. We will have one of our coaches at the event each day, so there will be some help for younger swimmers. 

Chestnut Springs does not pay for the individual entries. The swim team will take the registrations and pay the county for the entries upfront but will need to be reimbursed prior to the meet. There will be a meet registration on the Dolphins team website. We will only be looking for positive declarations. If you are not interested, you don’t have to do anything. We need to register any swimmers interested in the Patti Wilder Cobb County Meet by Friday June 21. We will register our swimmers as part of the Chestnut Springs Dolphin team, and coordinate with Cobb County directly.

The Patti Wilder meet will be held at the Mountain View Aquatic Center June 29 and 30. Prelims will be in the morning (times to be confirmed). Top 20 in each event will make the finals later in the day (accept 5/6 who will swim in the morning only). Top 3 swimmers (ages 7 and up) from Finals qualify for the Cobb County State team and GRPA State Meet on July 19 and 20 at the Cherokee Aquatic Center.
